Document Verification Guidelines
Assam Sanskrit Board provides Document Verification Services to students, educational institutions, employers, government departments, embassies, agencies, and other authorized organizations for verifying the authenticity of academic documents issued by the Board.
Documents Eligible for Verification
The following documents may be submitted for verification:
– Mark Sheet / Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC)
– Passing Certificate
– Migration Certificate
– Provisional Certificate
– Other academic documents issued by Assam Sanskrit Board
Verification Procedure
Step 1: Prepare the Verification Request
The Verification Request Letter should clearly mention:
– Candidate’s Full Name
– Roll Number / Registration Number
– Class / Course
– Academic Session / Year of Examination
– Purpose of Verification
– Postal Address
– Contact Number
Step 2: Attach Supporting Documents
Attach clear and self-attested scanned copies of the academic documents to be verified.
A valid Identity Proof should also be attached, such as:
– Aadhaar Card
– Passport
– Ration Card
– PAN Card
Step 3: Prepare the PDF
Combine the Verification Request Letter and all Supporting Documents into a single PDF file. Ensure that all scanned documents are clear and legible.
Step 4: Submit the Request
Email the complete verification application and supporting documents to the official email address mentioned on the Contact Us page of the Board’s website.
Applicants should mention “Document Verification Request” in the email subject line.
Step 5: Verification Fee
The applicable Document Verification Fee is ₹1,000/-, or as prescribed by the Board from time to time.
Applicants should follow the official instructions regarding payment of the verification fee.
Step 6: Verification Period
The normal period required for verification is up to 30 days, subject to receipt of complete documents and successful verification of the Board’s records.
Important Instructions
1. All submitted documents must be clear, complete, and legible.
2. The applicant must provide correct examination and candidate details.
3. Incomplete applications may cause delays in the verification process.
4. The applicant must provide a valid postal address and contact number.
5. The Board may request additional documents or information, if required.
6. Original documents may be requested by post wherever necessary.
7. Verification is subject to the availability and authenticity of records maintained by the Board.
8. Applicants should use only the official communication channels provided by the Board.
